Skykits manufactures ready-to-fly (RTF) S-LSA aircraft. As STOL aircraft they have no equal. Our aircraft are built from laser-cut and CNC machined parts. Because of this, our exterior sheet metal is a work of art. Every rivet, every screw, every VG is perfectly aligned. Look from one end of a wing to the end of the other and you'll see what we mean.
Our Savannah fuselage sides are corrugated with narrow rib spacing resulting in incredible strength with no oil-canning. There is a 2'x2' belly hatch in the rear fuselage which allows you to get completely inside the airframe for ease of maintenance.
6061-T6 aluminum is used thoughout for its high corrosion resistance. We take great care in painting your completed airframe. First the aluminum is washed and sanded twice using a special cleaning compound. Two coats of primer follow and then two coats of finish color. Finally your airplane is baked with 1.2 million BTUs of heat to ensure your paint job will last.
